Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Experienced and Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. The role involves working in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings, with full training and qualifications provided.
The position includes providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people aged 11 to 18 with challenging behaviour and complex needs. The goal is to create a supportive environment addressing their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will support young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. Interaction with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers is also required, along with supporting young people in environments like classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will need to drive the unit car to various destinations, including family contacts, school, and social activities.
Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check and an induction program before placements are offered.
