Overview
A exciting opportunity is available for an experienced or aspiring Occupational Therapy leader to join the team leadership team within Oldham intermediate care services.
The Oldham intermediate care team is based at Butler Green and Medlock Court and has over 50 beds between the sites. The service delivers rehabilitation to patients discharged from acute settings or patients struggling to maintain independence at home.
Responsibilities
* Provide professional and operational leadership while managing your own clinical caseload per the job plan.
* Analyse data, monitor waiting times, and timetable staff to meet the needs of the department and clinical pathways.
* Support compliance against key performance indicators and manage everyday operational issues within Trust corporate and clinical governance frameworks.
* Recruit, select and induct new starters.
* Ensure delivery of a safe and effective intermediate care service based upon national guidance, Trust policies and evidence‑based practice for children and adults in the local community.
Qualifications
* HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
* Proven extensive clinical experience.
