Highview Power Carrington – LAES Project (FOAK)
50 MW / 300 MWh Liquid Air Energy Storage Facility | Greater Manchester
This project utilises proprietary LAES technology, converting surplus renewable electricity into stored liquid air, with later pressurisation and reheating to drive turbines for electricity generation.
* Principal contractor for Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation (MEI) construction, including structural steelwork
* Delivery of complex, safety‑critical systems within a novel technology environment
* Working within a large high‑performing, multi‑disciplinary integrated delivery team on a technically challenging FOAK scheme

As a Time Writer / Office Admin Assistant, your activities will include the following, but are not limited to:
* To ensure accurate worked hours and absences are recorded in a timely manner in support of site operations and to provide accurate data to payroll in support of ensuring employees are paid on time and in full.
* On a daily basis, time writers must enter accurate worked hours and absences into the system.
* Ensure supervisors have submitted timesheets by the daily deadline
* Ensure sub‑contractor supervisors have submitted time sheets by the daily deadline
* Ensure all deadlines for submission of payroll data are achieved
* Create and maintain a daily record of personnel on site
* Create and maintain an absence log
* Ensure any supporting documentation (for absences) is forwarded to the HR department
* Deal with any pay queries from project personnel
* Ensure personnel holidays are booked in accordance with company procedures
* Assist in the general administration of the site project office
* Maintain the blue collar training matrix
* Maintain the Safety Observation Tracker in preparation for the weekly HSE meeting
Qualifications & Skills
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task
* Good computer skills and experience delivering results and meeting client expectations
