Terex has a prominent position globally in providing compact and mid‑sized materials processing equipment. MAGNA, recently launched in 2024, will serve customers requiring higher capacity machines tailored to meet the needs of larger output and volumes. The brand has an exciting roadmap ahead for new products, services, production capacity and business expansion.
Career Key Responsibilities / "What you'll do"
* Prospect new dealers for territories and market segments not adequately covered and subsequently appoint appropriate distribution and sales channels.
* Support the development of a strong dealer network through proactive management of dealers regionally.
* Consistently focus on evaluating dealer performance and identifying and sourcing new channels for sales to drive the MAGNA business forward.
* Responsibility of sales forecast, revenue and gross margin.
* Own the global sales forecast, working cross‑functionally with compliance, operations and manufacturing teams to decide on production planning and inventory.
* Partner with senior leadership and the product management team to identify new products demanded by the market and creatively suggest new products or product improvements.
* Articulate the MAGNA product offering to potential dealers and end‑users; include product benefits, lifetime cost analysis and bespoke financing by leveraging Terex Financial Services (TFS).
* Collect and analyse market data to assist the development of business strategies and means by which business levels might be increased through increased distribution and sales.
* Actively participate in establishing and tracking dealer / end‑user customer satisfaction levels.
* Adopt and/or assist with implementation of any new management techniques, systems, processes or reports as appropriate.
* Gain and maintain intelligence and specialist knowledge of the culture and methods prevailing in the market and identify the means by which to achieve year‑on‑year growth.
* Ensure compliance with Terex and local laws and advise Terex brand line of any contradictions with company policies and good business practices.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.
Experience Level
* Experience of successfully growing business globally utilizing a dealer network.
* Demonstrated depth of knowledge on the different requirements of all types of sale and rental.
* Ability to assess the potential and suitability of prospective partners for the MAGNA business and its next steps in delivering growth.
* Previous success in working with a third‑party dealer network and customers, setting challenging targets and working collaboratively to meet these.
* Professional level practical knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing and sales.
* Demonstrated knowledge of current best practices in new business development and dealer management.
* In‑depth technical, sales and applications knowledge of our products would be a major advantage.
* Significant direct experience of managing dealer accounts within the capital equipment construction business is preferred, although not essential.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to prepare and deliver formal and informal presentations to dealers and customers.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced and demanding environment.
* Goal‑oriented with the energy and commitment to drive growth for the MAGNA brand.
* Significant regional and long‑distance travel required.
