Join us and help deliver one of the UK's largest electricity network transformations. As the UK's energy mix continues to shift towards renewable generation - much of it located offshore - and electricity demand increases, significant investment is required to expand and modernise the transmission network. Sea Link is a proposed electricity transmission network reinforcement between Kent and Suffolk, delivered via a new, primarily offshore 2-gigawatt (GW) High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) link. Kent and Suffolk are both regions where more electricity is expected to enter the network than the existing infrastructure can currently transport. Sea Link forms a critical part of the solution, increasing network capacity and supporting the largest transformation of the electricity system in generations. As a Lead Interface Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the Sea Link project, ensuring seamless coordination and information flow across multiple project teams, contractors and stakeholders. Acting as the central point for managing interfaces, you'll oversee dependencies, resolve issues and track key deliverables to minimise risk, avoid delays and control costs. You'll proactively identify gaps in scope, manage risks at project boundaries and ensure that health, safety and environmental standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle. This role offers hybrid working, combining home, office and site-based working. You'll be flexible to travel to sites in Kent, Suffolk or London a minimum of three days per week and will need a full UK driving licence.
