We’re looking for a Damp, Mould and Disrepair Specialist to join our team! This role is based out of our Portsmouth office, and you’ll be working across Hampshire. It is a full-time, permanent position working 39 hours per week. The role requires travel and working from any of our sites when necessary.

Role responsibilities:
As a Damp, Mould and Disrepair Specialist, you will manage cases related to damp, mould, and disrepair for VIVID, from initial contact to resolution. This includes designing and implementing proactive strategies to prevent issues, organizing inspections (including third-party assessments), diagnosing causes, and planning remedies.
You will coordinate remedial works with our Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) or external contractors, ensuring satisfactory resolution. You will work with legal partners on disrepair claims, gathering necessary information and evidence.
You will provide expert advice to residents and colleagues, offering clear communication and holistic, long-term solutions for damp and condensation issues. Using data and local knowledge, you will anticipate future cases and collaborate with other teams to develop broader solutions.
A valid driving license and a car for business use are essential. Offers are subject to a satisfactory DBS check. Interviews are scheduled for the week commencing 26 May.
