We are looking for an enthusiastic Integration and Support Officer to become a vital part of the Refugee, Resettlement & Migration Service. You will play an essential part in ensuring that all refugees have full access to support that enables and promotes social integration, social connections, wellbeing, participation in communities, and a sense of belonging.
Regular attendance at your base location will be necessary, with opportunities for remote work. Final arrangements will be confirmed with the successful candidate. You should be able to travel independently around the county, including to areas that may not be easily accessible by public transport. Pool cars and bikes are available.

This diverse and impactful role offers the opportunity to work closely with refugee and migrant individuals and their families, providing vital support throughout their journey to the UK, from initial arrival to settling into their new home. Responsibilities include:
1. Case management and data recording: Maintain caseloads across cohorts, monitor refugee integration progress, and identify urgent support needs.
2. Building partnerships: Collaborate with internal and external partners, including voluntary and community sectors.
3. Providing professional support: Act as the point of contact for guidance on housing, income, education, employment, health, and wellbeing.
4. Supporting welfare system navigation: Assist adult family members in understanding and accessing welfare systems, and in finding pathways to independence, tailored to their experiences.

* Possess a degree or equivalent qualification, or extensive experience in refugee resettlement, migration, or social care.
* Have knowledge of refugee issues, communities, minority groups, safeguarding, and wellbeing concerns including racism, domestic abuse, and exploitation.
* Be comfortable using translation services for effective communication.
* Experience coordinating with partners and volunteers in resettlement or similar fields.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills to build trust with families or individuals with varying English abilities.
Salary: £32,597 to £35,412 per annum plus Crawley Weighting allowance.
