The project involves the combination of the use of cultured cells and vertebrate animals in particular zebrafish to understand newly-uncovered reactive metabolite signalling pathways of importance in well-defined disease states and is funded by ERC. Find out more about the Aye research and group at: About you Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Biology or a relevant subject area, (or be close to completion) prior to taking up the appointment. The research requires experience in interdisciplinary research, including small-molecule chemistry, biochemistry, cell-based and model organism. You will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities. This involves small scale project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.
