We are a family-run business with a passionate team, and we are now looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join us and help drive our business forward through data-driven insights.
The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing travel and customer data to deliver actionable insights that will inform our marketing, sales, and product strategies. This is a crucial role that will help us better understand our customers, optimise our operations, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to customer behaviour, booking trends, and market performance.
* Customer Segmentation & Profiling: Develop and implement customer segmentation models to better understand our different customer groups and create detailed customer profiles to inform targeted marketing campaigns.
* A/B Testing: Design, execute, and analyse A/B tests to optimise website performance, email campaigns, and other digital initiatives.
* Insight Delivery: Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and compelling presentations and reports for various teams, including marketing, sales, and senior management.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to understand their data needs, provide support, and deliver insights that help them achieve their goals.
* Data Management: Assist in the maintenance and improvement of our data infrastructure, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and accessibility.
* Tool Utilisation: Utilise SQL, Python, and Excel to query, manipulate, and analyse data effectively.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
* Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
* Demonstrable experience with a scripting language, preferably Python, R
* Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data visualisation.
* Experience in customer segmentation, profiling, and A/B testing methodologies.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* A passion for working with data and a desire to deliver impactful insights.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
* Knowledge of the travel or cruise industry.
* Experience with machine learning models for forecasting or customer behaviour prediction.
* Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift).
