Job Description
Important: Due to the sensitive nature of these projects, you must be a SOLE UK National capable of achieving and maintaining UK MoD Security Clearance (SC). Existing SC clearance is desirable but not mandatory; please apply if you believe you are a strong candidate.
We are seeking Commercial and Procurement Managers interested in working within the UK Defence Sector to join our growing Defence Team. You will support our Defence clients in delivering outcomes across the end-to-end commercial lifecycle.
Roles are diverse; no two are the same. Responsibilities may include:
1. Procurement and Commercial Strategy
2. End-to-End Contract Management
3. Risk and Performance Management
4. Negotiation and Continuous Improvement
5. Governance and Compliance with internal policies and legal frameworks
6. Business Analysis and Problem Solving
7. Supplier Relationship and Category Management
About You
You should have relevant experience in procurement, contract management, or sourcing, and a desire to deliver world-class outcomes for Defence clients. Skills in risk management, programme and project management tools, and procurement processes are essential.
Desirable skills include experience with Government Procurement processes (Single Source, Competitive), and familiarity with NEC, FIDIC, or JCT contracts.
Qualifications
* Professional qualification(s) in Business, Procurement, Law, Project Management, or relevant experience
* Knowledge of Defence and Security Public Contracting Regulations (DSPCR), PCR, and the Procurement Act 2023
Working Arrangements
Hybrid working is supported, with an expectation of approximately 60% office or site attendance, adaptable based on client and business needs.
Security Clearance
Applicants must be UK nationals eligible for SC clearance. Details on security vetting are available at UK government sites.
