Location: Distribution Centre – Biggleswade, SG18 8YL
Salary: Competitive DOE + Benefits
Contract: Full time, Permanent

We are now recruiting for Stock Control Operative to join our team.
As our Stock Control Operative, you will be responsible for:
• Conduct and record daily stock counts accurately and efficiently.
• Investigate and resolve stock anomalies across multiple locations and styles.
• Ensure accurate completion of stock control tasks, both physically and within systems.
• Perform consolidation tasks with minimal style variations per pallet.
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other software tools to track and update stock information.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve pick issues and fulfil customer requirements.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in line with health and safety protocols.
• Exhibit professional behaviour and effective communication with colleagues at all levels.
• Support the team by participating in extra tasks such as cross-training, overtime, or covering for other departments/customers when needed.
• Adhere to timekeeping standards, including punctual return from breaks and shift start times.
• Promote a culture of safety and accuracy through personal conduct and by influencing team standards.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A solid understanding of how to investigate and resolve stock issues.
• Reliability and the ability to prioritise tasks and maintain focus under pressure.
• Excellent numeracy skills to support accurate stock counting and data entry.
• A high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
• Good organisational skills to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and internet-based reporting systems.
• Good manual handling skills appropriate for a warehouse environment.
• A positive, professional attitude with strong communication skills across all levels of the business.
• A commitment to upholding high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
