About the Opportunity
Nuclear Power Programmes are delivering client critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams are delivering support to Hinkley Point C (New build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), helping develop technologies in SMR (Small modular Reactor) capability and working towards building Poland's first Nuclear Power station.
Working in both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We are driving to deliver safe, high quality and to time solutions by thinking innovatively and working collaboratively.
The Systems DOORS Manager will primarily be responsible managing the development of the L2 requirements baseline, managing and overseeing the maintenance of the DOORS baseline, and maintaining the IMS procedure for the management of Design Requirements. The Systems DOORS Manager will also support the Lead Systems Engineer in the development of strategy and subsequent plans, processes, policies and procedures to broaden, over time, the breadth of RM deployment as business needs develop.. Key responsibilities:
1. Leading on the development of the DOORS baseline at Levels 2 and 3 of the Design Requirements Management Procedure.
2. Development and continuous improvement of the programme’s Design Requirements Management Strategy & Procedure and all associated processes and procedures required to deliver effective and efficient requirements management.
3. Provide periodic reporting on the status of the baseline and the extent to which it is being assured.

4. Educated to professional standard and membership of an appropriate body and to degree level or equivalent although not essential.
5. Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
6. Ability to communicate cost and performance information to peers/managers/client in a way that is understood by all, especially those with limited knowledge of project controls.
7. Pro-active and able to thrive in a fast-past and dynamic environment.
8. Good attention to detail and skilled in interpreting and analysing cost and resource data.
9. Comfortable with challenging assumptions and processes in order to constantly improve the delivery of performance data.
