Job Summary
This role is vital in assisting our physiotherapists in providing a high standard of service to in‑patients and supporting the smooth functioning of the physiotherapy department. Assistants will rotate between clinical specialties/teams to gain a wide breadth of skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist physiotherapists in delivering patient care, including rehabilitative and mobility work, both on hospital wards and in critical care settings.
* Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physiotherapist.
* Perform administrative tasks, including inputting patient data into hospital systems.
* Maintain and manage physiotherapy equipment by cleaning, sorting, and recycling.
* Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care.
* Be involved in other essential duties as required.

Salary: £29,651 to £31,312 a year (incl HCAS outer pro‑rata)

* Evidence of strong IT skills
* Experience in an acute hospital therapy department, including work with elderly patients
