Hours: 24 per week (12 admin + 12 care shift)
Pay: £22–£26 per hour
Hi, I’m Sebastian. I’m in my early twenties, I have Cerebral Palsy, and I’m non-verbal—but I’m bright, alert, and have a great sense of humour. I use eye gaze technology to communicate and a PEG for feeding. I love music (especially playing my electric guitar), joining online groups, and being around people who are kind, calm, and genuinely care.
I’m looking for someone special to join my team—not just as a support worker, but as a Nurse Team Leader who will help guide and support the amazing people who care for me every day.
What You’ll Do
* Lead a team of 14 support workers and provide supervision, direction and professional guidance.
* Coordinate administration (12 hours) and a 12‑hour care shift at the team leader rate.
* Ensure high standards of care and support in line with my needs and preferences.
* Collaborate with my Case Manager and HR team for ongoing support and wellbeing.
* Support with clinical or care planning activities as needed, including updating care plans and MAR charts.
* Supervise rotas, performance monitoring, recruitment, inductions, and annual leave/sickness management for the team.
* Drive my Automatic Wheelchair Adapted Vehicle (WAV) as required.
* Attend to on‑call responsibilities at enhanced rates discussed at interview.
What You’ll Need
* Experience supporting adults with Cerebral Palsy and understanding emotional, behavioural, and cognitive needs.
* A Care Certificate or Level 3 qualification (or above).
* Supervisory experience (rotas, appraisals, recruitment, performance monitoring).
* Confidence in updating complex care plans and MAR charts.
* Ability to drive my automatic WAV.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
* Experience in palliative or end‑of‑life care is a bonus.
* Interest in therapy; calm, proactive, enthusiastic, and highly organised.
* Punctual, reliable, and genuinely care about making a difference.
* Interviews will be face‑to‑face; start date after satisfactory pre‑employment checks.

* Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks (pro rata).
