This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning, well-established, and family-run British manufacturer at a time of investment and innovation.Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Robot Weld Programmer/Operator to join our team. As a Robot Weld Programmer, you will be responsible for setting up and operating robotic welding machines to produce a variety of fabricated components.Key Responsibilities- Programme, operate, and maintain robotic welding machines- Inspect and ensure weld quality- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment and processes- Train and assist other operators in robotic welding- Test and validate robot programmes to ensure proper functionality and performance- Identify and resolve programming issuesRequirements- Previous experience in robotic welding or a related field- 2+ years' MIG experience (a weld test will be carried out at interview)- Experience working with various thickness materials- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings- The ability to hit deadlines and achieve daily production schedules- Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment- Ability to keep a safe and clean working environment- Willingness to assist with other duties as and when requiredPlease note, this role will include manual handling.What We OfferWe believe in looking after our people and creating a rewarding place to work.
