Puro Associates are delighted to be supporting an Accountancy practice in Cheadle Hulme in their search for a full-time permanent Senior Accountant to join their friendly well-established team of accountancy professionals.
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in working with a diverse range of clients, providing comprehensive accounting services and financial guidance.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Senior Job:
* Prepare and review annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns.
* Provide financial advice and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
* Mentor and lead junior team members, offering training and support as necessary.
* Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
* Cultivate strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business growth and development.
Requirements of the Accounts Senior Job:
* ACCA or ACA qualified is an advantage but not essential
* Will need ideally at least 3+ years’ experience within a UK accountancy firm.
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
* Friendly disposition and a team player
* Effective communicator, comfortable communicating with clients and peers at all levels
