Pay and Hours
Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £12.87 per hour; this increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. It is policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; options to work fewer hours (minimum 12) are also available.
Work Model
We will schedule your contracted hours within the advertised availability windows. You will receive 3 weeks’ notice of shifts. We are flexible and welcome applicants whose available times closely match the advertised windows.

Role and responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistants are integral to the running of our Pharmacies. You should be a team player and will be responsible for:
* Supporting the operation of one of our new modern Pharmacies.
* Dispensing prescription medicines with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Interacting with customers in a confident, friendly and professional manner.
* Providing information to customers on common ailments, symptoms and products.
* Understanding customers’ needs and advising on suitable products and services.
* Advising on range of Pharmacy services available.
* Supporting and delivering Pharmacy services and the dispensing process according to Standard Operating Procedures.
* Assessing the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions.
* Handling clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners within area of competence.
* Responding to customer queries about prescription medicines and informing the Pharmacist of any complaints.
* Ensuring dispensary routines and procedures are followed and rooms are kept clean and tidy.
* Maintaining accurate prescription administration and timely processing.
* Supporting promotional activities and company initiatives within the team.
* Carrying out procedures to protect profit and ensure safe, legal trading.
* Completing corporate and departmental training and staying up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
Qualifications
You will need:
* Qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop in the Pharmacy field.
