Health & Leisure – Leisure Team Apprenticeship - Level 2
We’re looking for Leisure Team Apprentices to join us. Working in one of our 9 swimming pool facilities, you’ll be part of a team, experience a range of work activities, and achieve qualifications in lifeguarding, swimming teaching, and gym instruction.
The Leisure Team Apprenticeship will give you experience in the leisure industry. It’s an ideal entry-level position for someone wanting a career within health, fitness & leisure; whether that’s your first, second, third, or more career!
To be successful, you’ll need to demonstrate good people skills and be happy to work in various situations & teams. In leisure, we work when many don’t, so there’ll be shift work including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. You’ll also need to have a relatively good swimming ability & will complete a swimming test as part of the application process.

Pay & Benefits
* 18-month (approx.) apprenticeship program
* 37 hours per week, including early mornings, evenings & weekends
* Starting salary of £15,816 per year for full-time, with 6-monthly performance-based pay rises
* 25 days annual leave, increasing to 30 days after 5 years’ service
