We're currently partnering with a high-growth, highly profitable FMCG / retail distribution business with an international footprint to appoint a Head of Finance – a true No.1 finance role reporting directly to a highly commercial and driven Managing Director. This is a key leadership position for a senior finance professional who wants to operate at the heart of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business and play a critical role in shaping its next phase of growth. As Head of Finance, you will take full ownership of the finance function and act as a trusted commercial partner to the MD and wider leadership team. You will be responsible for both strategic and operational finance, driving performance, insight and decision-making across the business. Key responsibilities include: Leading the overall financial strategy of the business Providing commercial insight to support growth and profitability Budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning Cashflow management and working capital optimisation Developing financial systems, reporting and controls Leading, mentoring and building a high-performing finance team Supporting international operations and expansion plans The Candidate This opportunity will suit a commercial, ambitious, hands-on finance leader who thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments and enjoys being close to the business.
