About Our Client

Job Description
3. Manage daily incoming payments, including daily bank reconciliations
4. Update the daily customer collection report and complete monthend customer account statement confirmations and reconciliations.
5. Monitor and follow up on overdue customer invoices to support timely collections.
6. Maintain accurate financial master data for customers and suppliers.
7. Prepare monthly VAT documentation and complete VAT returns.
8. Produce monthly individual and consolidated statutory financial reports.
9. Liaise with HMRC on any PAYE/VAT audits and prepare and submit ONS statistical reports.
10. Complete the annual company insurance questionnaire and support any insurance claim handling.
11. Preparation of monthly management accounts including Profit & Loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports
12. Provide analysis of KPIs and other management information which support understanding of business performance
13. Liaise with senior stakeholders across the business reviewing budgets and communicating the relevant financial information
14. Prepare and submit financial reports required by the bank.
15. Maintain uptodate company secretarial information and ensure timely confirmation statement submissions.
16. Prepare statutory audit documentation.
17. Lead the preparation and coordination of documents for external audits.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
18. A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, be studying towards it or significant relevant experience.
19. Strong experience in accounting and financial management within an international business.
20. Proficiency in financial software and systems, ideally SAP.
21. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
22. Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
23. Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
24. Proven ability to manage budgets and financial forecasting.
25. Be confident managing a Finance Assistant
