HR Business Partner | Automotive Retail
We're partnering with a growing multi-site business to hire an HR Business Partner who'll shape the people agenda and be a visible, trusted partner to the SLT and operational leaders.
The role
Partner with senior leaders to deliver a clear people plan across sites: capability, engagement, and performance.
Lead ER end-to-end (advice, investigations, disciplinaries/grievances) and upskill managers to handle issues confidently.
Refresh and embed policies, contracts and the employee handbook.
Build manager capability: induction, bite-size learning, and a practical management development programme.
Improve hiring quality and speed: better processes, smarter assessment.
Liaise with external partners (e.g., apprenticeship providers) and support pragmatic H&S guidance with Ops.
Use people data to spot trends and recommend actions that move the dial.
About you
Proven HRBP experience in a fast-paced, multi-site setting.
Strong ER and change/TUPE background; calm, credible, and commercially minded.
Policy, coaching and stakeholder management come naturally; you influence with data and judgement.
Organised, hands-on and resilient - happy switching from strategy to sleeves-rolled-up delivery.
CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience).
