Rate: Day: £34 – £39 per hour
About the role:
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 8a Virtual Ward/Governance Pharmacist to join our team in Whitehaven. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of pharmaceutical care within our virtual ward and governance framework.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert pharmaceutical care within a virtual ward setting.
2. Ensure compliance with governance standards and protocols.
3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
4. Conduct medication reviews and provide clinical advice.
5. Participate in the development and implementation of governance policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
6. Essential:
7. GPhC registered.
8. ACT Accredited.
9. Experience in a supervisory role within a pharmacy setting.
10. Previous experience in a virtual ward and/or governance role is preferable.
11. Desirable:
12. Strong communication and organizational skills.
13. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
14. Commitment to continuous professional development.
15. Flexibility to adapt to remote working arrangements if necessary.
