Location: Office based (Manzil Way, Oxford) Salary: £23,951 per annum, pro rata £9,580 per annum Working hours: 14 hours a week (2 days) About the role This post requires a motivated, committed and highly organised person to work alongside Restore staff. We intend to significantly increase volunteer engagement with Restore. Volunteer services offer us a way to expand services with support provided by a wide range of people with different skills, experiences, and strengths. We want to develop a skilled and trained group of people, both paid and volunteer, to support mental health in Oxfordshire by providing specialised training for each role. Person Specification You will have an understanding of the sector, and empathy with people with mental health problems is vital. Restore needs people who have the ability to cope with limited resources, seize opportunities and think creatively. Awareness of the stigma and other issues surrounding mental illness is important, as is the ability to remain calm under pressure when dealing with sensitive staffing or member issues. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their skills and experience against the following key essential criteria. Essential Requirements Intermediate understanding of Google/ Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel and ability to use Social Media. High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. A self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a wide range of tasks. Ability to deal with information in a confidential manner and respond with sensitivity to the opinions of others. Ability to work on own initiative, to organise work and meet deadlines. Excellent listening skills and communication skills (both written and verbal).
