Cura Terrae Water is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of modern, cloud-based applications while supporting a small number of legacy systems. Your Role
As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support our operational and commercial objectives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll help deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and test secure software solutions (primarily Azure Functions in .NET/C#)
* Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
* Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance
* Support a small number of legacy applications
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
* Participate in code reviews and uphold performance, security, and reliability standards
* Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement in tools and processes
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines technical capability with a proactive and collaborative mindset:
* Strong communicator and interpersonal skills
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and professionalism
* Discreet, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Skills & Experience
* Experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms
* Familiar with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
* Knowledge of containerisation, e.g. Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience with .NET/C# (preferred)
