Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Salary/Benefits: 25k - 36k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting for a professional and self‑sufficient Water Hygiene Engineer to cover a mix of client sites across South East of England. You will be joining a privately‑owned and highly respected Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit. We are ideally seeking someone with good access to the M25 for easier travel to client sites. Our client supports candidates through thorough training schemes, offering development within the industry. Salaries are attractive and benefits include overtime opportunities, company vehicle, pension scheme and annual leave allowance.

Experience / Qualifications
* Track record working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well‑established outfit
* Good understanding of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
* Professional attitude
* Experience working across commercial, public sector and local authority premises
* Good literacy and numeracy skill level
* Proficient in using IT software
The Role
* Undertaking a wide range of pre‑planned hygiene management tasks
* Showerhead disinfections
* Cold water storage tank inspections, cleans and disinfections
* TMV servicing and failsafe checks
* Closed system sampling and testing
* Cleans and disinfections on cooling towers
* Water sampling
* Temperature monitoring
* Producing regular service reports and updating logbooks
* Maintaining the reputation of the company
