We are working with a Freeholder client for an inhouse legal position. You'll take ownership of cases from start to finish, representing the business in tribunal and court proceedings while also acting as a key point of contact for internal teams on legal matters. Alongside this, you'll play a part in supporting the business through ongoing legislative changes, helping ensure the wider team is informed, prepared, and operating in line with current requirements.
The Role
* Manage a caseload of property related disputes, representing the Freeholder interests at First Tier Tribunal applications. Including attending hearings.
* Prepare and submit applications, responses, and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
* Liaise with external solicitors and counsel where appropriate.
* Interpreting and advising on upcoming legislative changes impacting the business.
* Assist in developing internal legal guidance and best practice.
The Person
* Experience handling residential property disputes, including First Tier Tribunal matters.
* Strong understanding of litigation processes, including small claims and County Court procedures.
* Confident preparing legal documentation and managing cases through to resolution.
Desirable Experience
* Qualified Legal Executive or Solicitor.
* Exposure to leasehold property management or related sector.
