Job Description
We are seeking an inspirational leader with proven flair and commercial ability to manage and develop our gym. The ideal candidate will possess the energy, skill, and determination to grow the membership base and lead the team effectively.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook.
2. Maintain compliance with JD Gyms Brand Standards.
3. Conduct regular safety checks (daily, weekly, monthly), report, and address any defects to ensure the safety of the building and equipment.
4. Recruit, train, and manage a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants to ensure smooth daily operations.
5. Hold regular team meetings for development and updates.
6. Achieve set sales and membership targets.
7. Maximize secondary revenue streams.
8. Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the gym facility.
9. Oversee the cleaning standards of in-house cleaners and manage weekly banking to minimize wastage and maximize profit.
10. Ensure all team members adhere to uniform standards.
11. Create a positive work environment where the team feels engaged and motivated.
12. Represent JD Gyms as an ambassador at all times.
Skills and Experience
* Proven management experience within the leisure industry.
* Passionate about customer service and capable of inspiring teams.
* Qualified as a minimum to Level 2 Gym Instructor.
* Track record of driving sales, managing local marketing activities, and leading successful teams.
* Experience as a General Manager or similar role within a leisure facility is preferred.
