Pay rate: From £12.64+ (PAYE - not via umbrella)
Holiday pay is separate, NOT inclusive of your hourly pay i.e. £12.50 + holiday pay.
What You'll Be Doing
Your role is to provide support and care to elderly residents within nursing homes. You will support residents with daily needs, maintain safety and independence, and support individuals with mental health, dementia, learning disabilities and physical health through personal care, inclusion and everyday needs. Working as part of a team, you will deliver highest quality care, respect residents’ choices and preferences, and promote independence, life skills and activity participation.
On agency work you will have opportunities to work with clients across learning disabilities, hostels, homelessness, children and young people, mental health and more, encouraging people to live their lives to the fullest.
We are unable to offer sponsorship for any agency or permanent positions.
Requirements
* 6 months UK based care experience in the last year OR a year in the last 5 years
* Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
* Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks
* Willing to undertake personal care
* Approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with service users
* Great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
