Working Pattern: Hybrid (40% office, 60% remote)

Responsibilities
* Identify and resolve technical impediments and bottlenecks.
* Be technology agnostic, adapting approaches for the best solution.
* Test, learn and apply core engineering practices.
* Use systems thinking and service design to mitigate reactive solutions and reduce technical debt.
* Apply agile principles and understand the relationship between agile definitions and automated delivery.
* Automate everything you can.
* Stay industry aware and adopt new technical approaches to evolve solutions.
What You’ll Need
* Experience in a private cloud environment with PostgreSQL (including HA) and Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS, SSAS, AAG).
* PowerShell and T‑SQL/PL/pgSQL scripting.
* Experience in supporting and managing enterprise systems, including HA/DR solutions.
* Agile ways of working.
* Backup, restore and disaster recovery processes.
* Defect management and performance optimisation.
* Technical fault‑finding Level 3 & 4.
* Security best practices and compliance standards.
* Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
* Industry‑based best practice.
And Experience With (useful)
* Ansible
* Backstage / Harness / IDP
* Github Enterprise
* MongoDB
