We are looking for an experienced Soft Services Manager to support the Operations Team in the management of site-based Janitors. Duties include staff inductions and training, liaising with recruitment agencies and completion of on-boarding paperwork.
You should be capable of managing a team and ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently and to agreed Touch Point Cleaning standards. You should be able to confidently liaise with recruitment agencies; to include provision of staff where vacancies become available, to manage missed shifts and to arrange leave/sickness cover for TPC.
You should be able to ensure the effective use of equipment and materials and that Janitors are provided with correct uniforms and PPE.
The ideal candidate would have previous experience in a supervisory role and have a full current driving licence with access to a vehicle. Have proficient IT skills including MS Word and MS Excel as well as being organised with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage competing demands. You will also have a strong understanding and respect for confidentiality.
