Job Description
Leonardo are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant (Expenses) to join the Finance team in Basildon. In this role, you will be responsible for processing employee expenses across the UK business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of queries. The role entails working closely with the UK expenses processing team, giving support to expense claimants and resolving queries and overdue expenses.
Your impact
Leonardo are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant (Expenses) to join the Finance team in Basildon. In this role, you will be responsible for processing employee expenses across the UK business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of queries.
In this role you will
* Process employee travel and entertainment expense claims in accordance with company policy.
* Support employees in completing and submitting their expense reports accurately and on time.
* Monitor and follow up on overdue expenses and outstanding American Express transactions.
* Conduct analysis of expense reports to meet L262 reporting requirements.
* Assist with ad hoc expense-related tasks and projects as defined by line management.
What you’ll bring
Previous experience of processing expenses.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processing.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear support and guidance to colleagues.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP and SAP Concur.
Organised, proactive, and able to work effectively within a team environment.
