WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Falmouth, MA.
Job Function:
* Night Shift.
* 3x12: 7pm - 7am.
* Prepare, administer (orally, subcutaneously, or intravenously), and accurately document prescribed medications.
* Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with nursing policies.
* Educate patients on surgical procedures and answer their questions.
* Record patients’ medical information and vital signs with accuracy.
* Monitor, adjust, and maintain specialized patient equipment, interpreting and documenting electronic displays as needed.
Job Requirements:
* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Massachusetts.
* 2 years of acute Med/Surg RN experience required.
* BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
