We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Floor Staff to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidates will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about catering, serving, and hospitality to develop their skills within a lively setting. Start time usually 11am and finishing at 8.30pm. Flexible hours.
Duties
* Welcome guests and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive experience
* Take food and beverage orders accurately, providing attentive service throughout the guest's visit
* Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
* Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and sanitising surfaces regularly
* Support baristas with drink preparation when required, ensuring high-quality service
* Uphold food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols and handling ingredients appropriately
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
* Handle customer queries professionally, resolving issues efficiently to enhance guest satisfaction
Requirements
* Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is highly desirable
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
* Experience in restaurant service or as a barista is advantageous
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
* Ability to work flexibly across shifts, including weekends and evenings if required
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within a team environment
