Role Overview
We’re looking for compassionate and skilled Residential Children’s Workers to join our team in Oxfordshire. You’ll provide high-quality support to children and young people with EBD, autism and learning differences in residential settings, using a person-centred approach to care that promotes independence, confidence, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct care and support, including personal care and daily routines
Help children develop life skills and participate in activities
Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to follow care plans and risk assessments
Maintain accurate records and reports in line with safeguarding requirements
Ensure a safe, nurturing environment that supports positive outcomes for children
Required Skills & Experience
Experience supporting children or young people with EBD, autism or learning differences (desirable but not essential)
Caring, patient, and empathetic approach
Flexible to work day, night, and weekend shifts
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
