This consultancy specialises in sustainable landscape design and planning, working across new developments, regeneration schemes, parks, and public realm projects. With a highly collaborative team environment and a commitment to continuous training, the business is well positioned for growth and now seeks a Senior Landscape Architect who can help take on increasing project demand.
In this role, you will support and lead on planning-stage landscape design work, produce fee proposals, feasibility reports, SketchUp models, and design documentation, as well as oversee inputs from the wider team. The position offers hybrid working, excellent work-life balance, and the chance to work on meaningful, environmentally focused projects.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical and design skills, excellent report-writing ability, and confidence working across planning stages. Collaboration, willingness to learn, and a positive, team-focused mindset are essential.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality landscape design and planning work
* Produce fee proposals, feasibility reports, and design
* Create SketchUp models and project visuals
* Write management specifications and technical reports
* Oversee inputs from junior team members
* Work predominantly within planning stages
* Hybrid working: 1-2 days per week in the Canterbury office
The Person
* Strong competency in landscape design and planning
* Excellent report-writing and communication skills
* Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with SketchUp
* Understanding of SuDS principles
* Degree Qualified
