A fantastic Primary SEND School based in Haywards Heath is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEND Support Worker to join their committed team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support primary-aged boys with Autism, ADHD and Challenging Behaviour, working closely with them on both a 1:1 and small group basis.
The Role:
* Supporting students across the primary age range (4–11 years)
* Providing tailored interventions to support communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour
* Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and development
* Working collaboratively with class teachers, therapists and other support staff
* Promoting a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience working with children with SEND, particularly Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour
* Be patient, empathetic and calm under pressure
* Possess strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Be confident working both independently and as part of a supportive team
* Be committed to promoting inclusion and helping every child reach their potential
