Position Overview
Housing Services are looking for an experienced administrator to join our Choice Based Lettings team to support the function of the Island Homefinder Service. This fast‑paced role will suit a highly organised individual, with excellent interpersonal skills and a professional and positive approach to work.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for housing‑related enquiries
* Process and maintain Island Homefinder applications
* Communicate with stakeholders, including members of the public, council staff, and internal and external organisations
* Carry out a range of administrative duties to support the function of the Island Homefinder Service
* Work unsupervised using own initiative, prioritising work and managing time effectively
