Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Commercial Team at Liverpool City Council as an Environmental Health Officer. The role involves a wide range of regulatory functions, balancing proportionate risk‑based enforcement interventions to our businesses. Responsibilities include food hygiene inspections, reactive and proactive health and safety enforcement, infectious disease controls, complaint investigations, sampling, and project work. The officer will manage their own workload and use their professional skills and knowledge to improve standards.
