We have an exciting new opportunity at PCE for an Administration Apprentice to work as part of our Business Improvement team.

Summary

* Contract: Apprenticeship – Permanent Role
* Location: Tamworth, Head Office
* Reports to: Office Manager
* Competitive remuneration package

Responsibilities

* Reception & Communication
o Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate person or meeting room
o Answering incoming calls and transferring them to the relevant team member
o Taking messages and ensuring they are passed on promptly
o Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area
o Responding to emails and enquiries in a professional manner
o Communicating with colleagues to pass on information or requests
* Administrative Support
o Photocopying, scanning and filing documents
o Supporting with data entry and document organisation
o Managing incoming post and parcels
o Assisting with outgoing mail and deliveries
o Supporting the team with basic administrative tasks
* Office & Meeting Room Coordination
o Booking and managing meeting rooms using the calendar system
o Preparing meeting rooms before meetings
o Ensuring meeting rooms are clean and organised
o Supporting meeting set‑ups where required
o Ordering and monitoring office stationery and supplies
o Helping maintain office equipment and supplies
o Supporting office events or internal activities where required
* General
o Work with managers and colleagues to learn administrative processes
* Support Other Departments When Administrative Assistance Is Required
o Maintain confidentiality and handle information in line with GDPR
o Participate in apprenticeship training and development activities
o Carry out other reasonable duties as required by the business
