Connect Appointments is working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing firm based in Dunfermline. Specialising in large commercial vehicles and trailers, they're looking for skilled Mechanical Assembly Operator to join their growing team.
Working as a Mechanical Assembly Operator, your duties will include:
Assembling mechanical components to engineering specifications
Using hand and power tools for building and modifications
Performing quality checks throughout the assembly process
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical build issues
Collaborating with other departments to improve build flow
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Documenting your work and updating build recordsWhat We're Looking For:
Experience in mechanical assembly or coachbuilding
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Skilled in using tools and workshop equipment
A good eye for detail and a focus on quality
Team player with strong problem-solving skills
Basic IT skills for job trackingWhat's On Offer:
Competitive salary - up to £41,500 depending on experience

Permanent, full-time contract
Day shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30 (early finish Friday)
