Duties for the role of Principal Designer include:
* Help deliver technical projects from planning stages through to new build delivery
* Implement the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislations 2023
* Lead the design team and other project team members, as well liaising with clients
* Carry out site visits and ensure projects comply with regulations and high ethical standards are achieved
Skills and experience for the role of Principal Designer:
* Relevant degree in architecture
* Strong experience working within a health and safety, design, or project management role
* Strong interest in health and safety issues and risk management
* Strong attention to detail
* Experience with the Building Safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislations 2023
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Live within a commutable distance to the Leicester area
