Provision of medical care and casualty management on Ops. The provision of medical training to Regt'l personnel. Responsibilities include: Provide assistance to medical officers in field units and medical reception stations. Provide advanced first aid and use advanced resuscitation techniques inc the administration of non-controlled drugs ordered by a Med officer. Carry out basic nursing procedures and prolonged care, whilst initiating and maintaining casualty and equipment/supply documentation. Trained in Army environmental health issues at unit level. Provide medical training to the unit. Establishing field medical facilities and maintain and supervise the maintenance of medical equipment.
