A healthcare-focused position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving pediatric and school-aged students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract role spans the full school year and requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The location for this opportunity is in Lawerenceville, VA.
Key Qualifications:
* Valid Virginia SLP License or SLPA License
* Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech-language pathology
* Eligibility and readiness to fulfill Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) requirements if applicable
* Ability to support K-12 student population with speech and language needs
Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans for K-12 students
* Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to optimize student communication outcomes
* Maintain accurate records, documentation, and comply with state and educational regulations
* Support students through direct intervention and progress monitoring within the school environment
