Mechanical Building Services Engineer £17.00 PAYE Ongoing temporary contract As the Mechanical Services Engineer you will be required to carry out varied duties including: Responding to reactive maintenance calls across the hospital (leaks, temperature issues, no water, toilets not flushing) Mechanical plant maintenance: AHUs, pumps, HVAC, steam/condensate, medical gas systems, TMV maintenance, basic electrical lamping where required Supporting PPM tasks where capacity allows Working within a site-based team and escalating to senior engineers when required Confident with: HVAC / AHUs Pumps & valves TMVs Basic plumbing Basic first‑fix electrical (lamp changes)Requirements of the Mechanical Services Engineer: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a mechanical discipline (Plumbing, Mechanical Maintenance, HVAC, etc.) Able to work independently on nights without immediate supervision Basic DBSIf you are interested in the Mechanical Building Services Engineer role, please contact Ben Dreher at Sellick Partnership Derby or click 'apply now'.
