An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Education and Young People's Service SEND Phase transfer team
About the team
We coordinate the Phase Transfer process, for children and young people with Education, Health and Care plans (EHCPs) across the county, in line with the Local Authority's statutory duties. You will have the opportunity to work alongside the area case work teams, other SEND/ Local Authority teams and service users.
The team are currently operating a hybrid work model. Due to the demands of the role, including your induction period, there will be times where working from the office is necessary, so being able to get to attend a KCC office for a 9am start is a must.
The role would be 9am 5pm Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with a solution focused approach, who is highly motivated, keen to learn quickly, happy to embrace new ways of working, adaptable to change and who can execute tasks with accuracy. Ideally you would have a passion for working in line with statutory processes, an enquiring mind and excellent communication skills.
