Job Overview
Our client are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pre-Construction Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join the dynamic team. Ideally, you will have a Construction, Renewable or M&E background.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the early stages of construction projects, ensuring that all financial aspects are meticulously planned and controlled. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of cost control processes, contributing to the successful delivery of projects within budget.
Duties
1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on project specifications and drawings.
2. Conduct thorough market research to obtain accurate pricing for materials, labour, and other project-related costs.
3. Collaborate with project managers and architects to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
4. Monitor and control costs throughout the pre-construction phase to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
5. Assist in the preparation of tender documents and evaluate bids from contractors.
