About the Role
A high-growth, VC-backed startup (founded 2024, 12 employees, $4m funding) is building AI-enabled software that dramatically speeds up industrial inspection workflows – from reporting through to asset integrity. The platform helps leading TIC players reduce field reporting times to an average of 12 minutes and onboard clients 7x faster.
They’re now scaling fast and hiring Full Stack Engineers to take an early product and elevate it into a market-leading solution. This is a product-focused role for someone who wants real ownership: shaping ideas from customer conversations through to shipped features that deliver measurable enterprise impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of ideas end-to-end: from discovery and customer conversations (including occasional on-site visits) through to delivery and iteration.
- Build and ship full-stack features that solve real-world enterprise pain points, quickly and with high quality.
- Contribute to architecture and product decisions, making smart technical trade-offs that optimise for impact and speed.
- Develop across UI and backend, writing clean, maintainable code and improving reliability through testing and iteration.
- Work in a flat team structure, prioritising the most valuable outcomes in focused 6-week cycles.
- Help define and build new paradigms for AI-powered software in industrial environments.
Requirements
- Experience building full-stack JavaScript applications in production environments.
- Strong TypeScript skills and hands-on experience with modern web development (Next.js experience is highly desirable).
- Product mindset: you care about the “why”, speak to users/stakeholders, and enjoy turning ambiguous problems into shipped solutions.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup setting: high ownership, rapid iteration, and shifting priorities when needed.
- Solid engineering fundamentals: system thinking, pragmatic decision-making, and a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
