Jackson Hogg Procurement division are exclusively partnering with an organisation in Northumberland on the appointment of a Procurement Supervisor to join their close-knit team.\n\nThis is a full-time and permanent role that will be based on site. Working hours can be flexible depending on preference between an 08.00-09.00 start time and 16.00-17.00 finish time Monday to Thursday. Early Friday finishes on offer.\n\nSalary on offer is £35k-40k depending on experience.\n\nThe Role:\n\n * Raise and place purchase orders on SAP\n\n * Attend supplier visits on site\n\n * Order for projects, site installations and support in maintaining the hire fleet\n\n * Management of 1 direct report in Logistics/Stores role\n\n * Negotiating with suppliers with a focus on cost-saving\n\n * Manage and update SAP system accordingly\n\n * Stock management\n\n * Liaise with manufacturers\n\n * Purchasing of consumables, small components, drives, cable, transport, tools and equipment\n\n * Liaise with administration team on smaller value items and stationery\n\n * Support project management team on project requirements\n\n * Monitor stock repurchasing\n\n * Support with import tasks as required\n\nThe Person/Requirements:\n\n * Ideally a minimum of 5 years' experience in a procurement/purchasing role\n\n * Comfortable working in a stand-alone procurement role\n\n * Strong neg...
