The Position

We are in search of an accomplished and motivatedCare Services Worker to join our team at our newly established Care Hub within The Verge at Burleigh Retirement Village.
We are seeking a motivated person to make a positive impact and become part of our close-knit team, as well as embrace the chance to be a source of support and comfort for our residents.
Our magnificent community overlooks the picturesque Burleigh Golf Course. Located within the third stage of The Verge at Burleigh Retirement Village, the Care Hub is a brand-new facility that provides a genuine alternative to aged care, offering compassionate and person-centred care in a boutique and intimate environment. Catering to a maximum of 10 people at a time, the Care Hub offers 24/7 care, but it is not a traditional nursing home, or a hospital.
There are several shifts available across the Verge Care Hub and our Home Care team in the Village – Part time or Casual positions - 4 to 5 shifts per fortnight
Reporting to the Regional Care Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Supporting and assisting Home Care recipients with activities of daily living, including mobility continence management, showering, dressing, personal grooming, medication prompting
* Where required, assisting with meal preparation
* Provision of domestic and laundry services to care recipients
* Transporting care recipients to appointments (e.g. medical)
* Social Support and Shopping assistance
We’re on the lookout for someone with:
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
* Full Drivers Licence, Comprehensive Insurance and Reliable Transport
* National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
* First Aid & CPR Certificate(or ability to obtain)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
