Management Accounting Team
Salary circa £50,000 per annum, negotiable based on skills and experience, 34 days off, and a health cash plan.
12 Month Maternity Cover, Full Time 37.5 hpw
Newcastle upon Tyne, One Strawberry Lane, hybrid working with 2 office days per week

What you’ll do
1. Lead and coach a small team, creating space for people to shine
2. Prepare accurate management accounts and clear reports
3. Partner with teams across Home Group to explain the numbers and spot opportunities
4. Review forecasts and challenge assumptions to support better decisions
5. Work closely with a brilliant Finance Manager who’ll support and stretch you
6. Help build a culture of continuous improvement in everything we do

7. Experience in financial reporting and management accounting
8. A knack for turning data into insight that others can act on
9. Leadership skills, whether from managing people or projects
10. A confident, clear way of communicating
11. An eye for improvement and a head for problem solving
12. Ambition to grow into more senior finance roles in future
